Appearance: electric-blue, bold black-tipped fins. 5-6 inches

Lifespan: 10 years

Tank Size: 75 gallons (longer tanks are better to manage territories)

Temperature: 75°F - 82°F pH 7.8 to 8.5

Temperament / Behavior: Highly territorial and aggressive

Tank Mates: Best kept in a crowded, all-cichlid tank with other highly aggressive, similar-sized Mbuna. They will terrorize or kill peaceful fish and are not safe with live plants
