Acie Blue Mbuna Cichlid

Scientific Name: Pseudotropheus sp. "acei"

origin: native to Lake Malawi

Appearance: striking blue bodies and contrasting yellow (or white) fins. 5-6 inches

Lifespan: 10 years

Tank Size: 75 gallons (longer tanks are better to manage territories)

Temperature: 75°F - 82°F pH 7.8 to 8.5

Temperament / Behavior: Highly peaceful compared to most other mbuna cichlids

Tank Mates: Best kept in a schools, all-cichlid tank with other semi aggressive, similar-sized Mbuna.
