OB (Orange Blotch) Peacock Mbuna Cichlid

origin: Man Made crossing male Aulonocara (Peacock) cichlids with female Mbuna

Appearance: bright orange-to-red mbuna cichlid. 5-6 inches

Lifespan: 5-15 years

Tank Size: 55-75 gallons (longer tanks are better to manage territories)

Temperature: 75°F - 82°F pH 7.4 to 8.5

Temperament / Behavior: Semi-aggressive. Because of their Mbuna lineage, they can be more assertive and bold than traditional peacock cichlids

Tank Mates: Best kept with other mildly aggressive African cichlids of similar size (such as Haps and other Peacocks). Avoid keeping them with highly aggressive Mbuna species that might outcompete them for food, or fish that might nip at their long fins
